Growing Up Green
Tadpoles, pollywogs, and frogs, oh my! Students will compare and contrast the unique and diverse life cycles of frogs, butterflies, birds, and oak trees as they explore the Arboretum’s paths and gardens. Activities include using dip nets and buckets in the wetland, peeking inside bluebird boxes, embarking on a woodsy scavenger hunt, and searching for caterpillars among the milkweed. (NGSS LS1-1).
