Photography Policy
Thank you for choosing Adkins Arboretum for your portrait photography. We’re thrilled to provide the perfect backdrop for timeless memories.
There is a cost to maintaining our beautiful native landscapes. As a small nonprofit, Adkins Arboretum asks that all professional photographers purchase a Contributor Level membership. Once you’ve joined, you are welcome to return for photo shoots throughout the year. Purchase membership here.
In addition, we’ve created a unique discounted membership level for your clients. As a perk for introducing your clients to Adkins, you can offer them a one-time yearlong Household membership for $25 (usually $75). Email Kellen McCluskey to redeem the offer and submit client information.
Photographers should be prepared to show their up-to-date membership cards during shoots. And, please remember to tag us on social media.
NOTE:
Alcohol, candles, horses, balloons, confetti, rice, seed, smoking, smoke, and open flames are not allowed. The entrance gates are locked daily at sunset; all vehicles must leave the parking lot beforehand.
