Mission: Provide exceptional experiences in nature.

Vision: Adkins Arboretum inspires environmental stewardship, provides respite and healing, and celebrates natural and cultural diversity through the joy and wonder of the natural world.

Our unique position: Adkins Arboretum is one of the few botanical institutions focused on conserving and promoting native plants of the Chesapeake Bay region.

The Arboretum's meadows, forests, wetlands, and trails provide the venue for a wide variety of educational programs, native plant sales, art exhibits, and special events to engage a broad audience. We welcome more than 28,000 visitors annually to explore the Arboretum's 400 acres of native gardens, meadow, forest, and wetland. These visitors and the Arboretum's members are from Talbot, Queen Anne's, Kent, Dorchester, and Caroline counties as well as Baltimore, Annapolis, Wilmington, and Washington, DC—individuals and families who support the Arboretum and are actively involved in community, education, and business activities.

The Adkins Sponsorship Program provides the opportunity for businesses to maximize their marketing exposure and showcase their brands and products to Arboretum constituents and visitors. Several levels of support are available. Click here to learn more about the Sponsorship Program.
