Maureen Wheatley
Maureen Wheatley has been an artist all her life, and a printmaker and painter for over 40 years. Kent Island is where she lives with her husband. She considers herself a “Nature” artist; she often records nature and wildlife “Plein Air” in her own surrounding habitat. As a teacher of many mediums, Maureen works primarily in pastels, acrylics, watercolors, mixed media, and fiber arts which she has done since a child. She also does commissioned work: pet portraits; murals; and house, boat, and car drawings and paintings.
