  of the new Native Plant Garden led by Travis Beck\, NYBG Landscapes and P
 roject Manager and recent author of Principles of Ecological Landscape Des
 ign\, or another talented NYBG curator. The new 3.5-acre Native Plant Gard
 en showcases the beauty and diversity of native plants and the best in con
 temporary garden design. Designed by Oehme\, van Sweden\, this new garden 
 combines contemporary architectural elements\, dramatic water features\, s
 ustainable materials\, and diverse plantings to celebrate the elegant beau
 ty of native plants\, the drama of the natural landscape\, and the Garden’
 s commitment to education and conservation.\n\nA gourmet bagged lunch by A
 bigail Kirsch will be served upon arrival at the historic and newly refurb
 ished Lillian and Amy Goldman Stone Mill nestled along the banks of the Br
 onx River. Dinner can be purchased at the Garden Café and Leon Levy Visito
 r Center Café – both offer homemade soups and sandwiches in addition to sa
 vory and sweet snacks. \n\nThe bus departs from Creamery Lane/Aurora Park 
 Drive parking lot in Easton at 7 a.m. and from Adkins Arboretum in Ridgely
  at 7:30 a.m. An additional stop at the 301/291 Park and Ride for Chestert
 own-area participants will be added upon request. The bus will depart from
  the NYBG at 6 p.m. to return to the Arboretum at approximately 9:30 p.m. 
 and Creamery Lane at 10 p.m. Registration required. Limit: 45\n\n<b>Fee: $
