Adkins Arboretum Hosts Fall Family Festival
Celebrate the joys of the fall season at Adkins Arboretum’s
Fall Family Festival, Saturday, November 10 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
This special event for families to enjoy the Arboretum includes
hay wagon rides, a corn crib and hay bale maze, and crafts so that
every child carries something home. Revel in a dynamic performance
by storyteller Diane Macklin, or kick back to the music of the
HomeTown Quartet. A variety of lunchtime treats will be available.
Admission is $12 per family, $5 per individual. For more information,

Adkins Arboretum is a 400-acre native garden and preserve at the
headwaters of the Tuckahoe Creek in Caroline County. Open year
round, the Arboretum offers educational programs for all ages about
nature and gardening. Guided walks are offered Saturdays at 11
a.m. and the first Wednesday of the month at 1 p.m., April through
