Winfield (Win) Trice, president and chief executive officer of CNB (right), and Ellie Altman, executive director of Adkins Arboretum (left), recently met at the Arboretum in Ridgely to announce CNB's corporate Green Legacy sponsorship of the Arboretum's signature fundraising event, Magic in the Meadow. “We are pleased that CNB is again partnering with the Arboretum as a lead sponsor of our annual fundraising event,” commented Altman. “CNB's support over the years has helped fund the Arboretum's conservation and education programs for all ages.”
Set for Sat., Sept. 24, Magic in the Meadow will welcome guests as twilight falls to enjoy music by Stefan Scaggiari, sumptuous multicourse hors d’oeuvres and small plates prepared by PeachBlossom, cocktails, complementing wines and live and silent auctions. Proceeds benefit the Arboretum's educational programs and outreach services for adults and children. Tickets are $125 per person, with tables for ten available for reservations. Adkins Arboretum is a 400-acre native garden and preserve at the headwaters of Tuckahoe Creek in Caroline County.
