For the fifth year in a row, CNB will serve as sponsor of Adkins Arboretum’s signature fundraising event, Magic in the Meadow. “We are delighted to have CNB as the Arboretum’s loyal partner and as the Green Legacy lead sponsor for this year’s event,” commented Arboretum Executive Director Ellie Altman. “CNB's support over the years has helped fund the Arboretum's conservation and education programs for all ages.”
Set for Sat., Sept. 29, Magic in the Meadow will welcome guests at twilight for music by Chestertown band B Natural, exquisite hors d’oeuvres and dinner prepared by PeachBlossoms, delicious complementary wines and live and silent auctions.
London, South Africa and Italy’s Amalfi Coast are among the luxurious vacation packages offered in the live auction.
Proceeds benefit the Arboretum's educational programs for adults and children. Tickets are $125 per person, with tables for ten available for reservation. Adkins Arboretum is a 400-acre native garden and preserve at the headwaters of Tuckahoe Creek in Caroline County. Open year round, the Arboretum offers educational programs for all ages about nature, art and gardening.
